Revelator - Tedeschi Trucks BandTHE WINNER'S CIRCLE
In his alternate personna as a member of the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Mr. Mattison has been awarded the 2011 Grammy for Blues Album of the Year for his performances, and his very own composition, Midnight In Harlem on the album Revelator.

THE SOUND OF MUSIC
Swamp Raga Studios We have reliable reports that back in January, Mike and Paul and the rest of the guys gathered down in the Swamp in Jacksonville to do some recording. With a small window of studio time, and some quick and dirty rehearsals, the sessions were described as "somewhat hairy". Our source says that the guys are going to trim it down and slick it back for a Summer release. The word is, lots of jammin' and some deeply rhythmic grooves provided a perfect environment for Mike's lyrics and Paul's guitar work. As usual Paul was tearing it up on guitar, so he will be having his fingers refurbished in time for the Spring tour. There are some hot gigs coming up in March in New York, and then we should have some really good, new music shortly thereafter.
