The Props Are Flowin'

As an artist, recognition from your peers is the greatest reward, and Mike is reaping the rewards.

In his alternate personna as a member of the Derek Trucks Band, he has been awarded the 2010 Grammy for Contemporary Blues Album of the Year for his performances on the album Already Free.

And here is an interesting lecture that Prof. Ernest Suarez gave on Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi and the Grammy's. Mike connected via Skype and talked about the blues and Derek and Sue.
